Joy Juice 5k in DC this Weekend

Cool Dads and Cool Moms in the DC area, help Danny Allotta (@AlottaWays) and his non profit Joy Juice (@JoyJuiceOrg), which provides fashion makeovers to teens with cancer by joining them:

Saturday, April 30th at 9am for a 5k walk/jog fundraiser

at Hains Point, 1100 Ohio Drive Southwest, Washington DC 20242.

Donation $30 – Receive a Joy Juice T-shirt
Donation $50 – Receive a Joy Juice T-shirt and a signed copy of Joy Juice, Alotta’s cancer memoir.

SYNOPSIS

A New Star Wars Story in December

Get ready for more of the Force to come your way and fast! On the heels of the DVD release of the glorious or inglorious return of Star Wars with “The Force Awakens,”  Lucasfilms will release “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” the first Star Wars based movie outside of the Star Wars Saga.  And yes 1CoolDad Academy Award Winner, Forest Whitaker will be wielding a lightsaber.  It hits the big screen December 16, 2016.  Check out the trailer.

Dahl’s Big Friendly Giant on the Way to Theaters

My kids will be super excited to see another Roald Dahl book make its way to the big screen.  This time Steven Spielberg is behind it.  Take a look at Disney’s “BFG” trailer, it hits theaters in July.
