Can attaching popular children’s characters to healthy food help children make better choices and most important alleviate some of the stress on parents to force feed better health to our kids?
Well, a study done at Cornell University put target branding to the test with none other than Elmo. In the study they put unbranded cookies against apples branded with stickers of Elmo. Apples won!
Now I know some of you might tune out because your kids may be beyond furry puppets but the same rule could apple to the Avengers endorsing Raisin Bran. We can only hope the powers that be bring in the big guns for the fight against junk food, but this is a start.
